The Think Bikes team varies from performance to performance, but you will always find either Dave or Spode, the Founders, at the helm. All of our riders are sponsored by Tarty Bikes, who supply us with bikes every year and vital components when we inevitably break them! If you're looking for a rider you've just seen at one of our performances or workshops, this is where you'll find them!
Dave has been riding for over 10 years and founded Think Bikes alongside Spode. Dave's style is unique blending both BMX tricks and trials moves into his riding portfolio. Dave is happiest when on his front wheel - rolling backwards, or hopping in circles at great height.

Spode has been riding almost as long as Dave, not excluding time taken out for injuries. Spode is outspoken so has no trouble riding and commentating at the same time, which just adds to the performance. Complementing Dave's front wheel obsessions, Spode is happier on the back wheel, spinning around like a mad-man between platforms, or performing 360 drop offs on demand.

Andy is our newest rider, who joined the team for the 2008 season. Since then he's been a fairly permanent fixture in our line up. You may well have heard of him being referred to as "The Boy" due to him being only 18 years of age. Andy likes to push his boundaries as much as possible and we hope to see amazing results in the years ahead of him.

Phil, or "Earthworm" King is an excellent rider, who much like Spode will happily chat away on the microphone while performing death defying stunts. Not one for getting dizzy, Phil gives everyone a run for their money at the gapping and sidehopping competitions.

Adam is an outstanding rider who constantly pushes the creative boundaries of our demonstration rig - looking for something bigger, better or more daring than the last!

Growing up with Dave and Spode, Darren has an obvious place in the team. Nepotism aside, Darren has a unique style that fits in perfectly with the team. Due to a rather severe injury, he had to sit out of the 2008 Season and was primarily involved in training sessions. 2009 and Darren is back on his bike and raring to go!

From the darkest depths of Essex, Adam is often found on the competitive circuits as well as riding in and around London. We are looking forward to seeing more of Adam in 2009!

Having ridden alongside Phil King for most of his life, Tom is a natural choice when performing demonstrations north of London, with his obvious performance chemistry with the Earthworm. Tom is a powerful rider that engages well with the audience.

Being 6'7", Rob is easy to spot in the crowd and makes even the largest of bikes look small. Much like Adam, he can be spotted on the competition scene or riding alongside Dave and Spode in their home county of Kent.
