Example Packages

Example Packages

At Think Bikes we are experienced enough to know that every event has different requirements. There is no "one size fits all". We try our best to suit all your needs to a price that you can afford. However, here are some example packages, to give you an idea of how we could fit into your day. We highly recommend contacting us to discuss your event in full and so we can recommend the best solution for you. If you haven't already, read the full details on our performances, product launches and workshops on the left hand menu.

Travel is charged as close to cost as possible, but there may be extra costs if we are needed to travel the day before. We will try our hardest to match, or better our competition in terms of price, but we will always be superior in value. We are flexible, creative and well known for our "can do" attitude.

Performances

Typically we will do three performances per day lasting 20-25 minutes each. Each performance is different, so even if you've seen one, you'll want to see them all. We can happily do two or three days events and we are fully equipped for camping should this be necessary!

As mentioned on the performances page, we need around an hour to setup and once setup we need to stay put. Shared arenas make things very hard for us - but it's not impossible. So for a 10am start, we would turn up at around 8:30am, setup, warm up and then go straight into the first demonstration. In between demonstrations, we do not ride, as this can ruin the magic of the main shows!

Tight Budget?

Some people suggest that they only need a single performance instead of the full three. This doesn't affect the price as much as you'd think, as much of our costs come from staffing, traveling and setup time. However, if you are on a tight budget, we do have special packages in place, so contact us for more details.

Combined Performance with Workshop

This is our recommendation for anyone doing a workshop for the first time. We find we get the most out of students, especially those with behavioural difficulty, if they have first watched us perform. They respect you more as a teacher once they have seen you practice what you preach. So we find it is best to start the day with an extended 30-35 minute performance. After this, we talk to the students and get them warmed up, while the arena is setup.

Lunch is an excellent breaking point, allowing students to recouperate, bikes to inevitably be repaired and groups to change places. We find that anything more than 4 hours of training can be counter-productive.

Workshop

This is targeted more as a follow up workshop, as there is no performance at the beginning. It is ideal that students are aware of what we do (perhaps by watching videos on our website) or have seen us perform before, perhaps at a previous training session.

Other than the lack of performance, the day runs identically, with around 4 hours of training.
